Kildare and Meath Sponsor a Survey

Anonymous writes: "Counties Kildare and Meath are sponsoring a survey of holy wells in both counties.
A dedicated researcher supervised by the Geography Department of NUI Maynooth will spend the next four months traveling around the counties searching for wells.
Using the Site Memorial Records (SMR) maps and other printed sources the survey will attempt to locate all of the wells identified. It is envisioned that a report/book will be the eventual outcome of this major survey possibly by 2010 which will be available to the public.
Comments and observations to this site will be received with interest by the researcher.
